We cover security and defense, Israeli politics, diplomacy, the wider Middle East, technology, business, the economy and major international stories with a direct connection to Israel.
Our goal is not to publish every update simply because it is new. We aim to publish stories that help readers understand what happened, what is confirmed, what remains disputed and why the development matters.
How we work
We prioritize primary and authoritative sources whenever they are available, including official documents, government statements, court records, company filings, direct transcripts and original data. We also use established news organizations and specialist publications to add independent reporting and context.
When a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we attribute it to the person, organization or authority making it rather than presenting it as established fact. In fast moving security stories, we make clear when information comes only from the IDF, another military, a government, a medical authority, a political actor or another interested party.
We distinguish straight news from analysis and opinion. Headlines should accurately reflect the underlying reporting and should not exaggerate what the evidence supports.
Corrections and updates
News changes quickly. When we learn that a factual statement is wrong, we correct it. When a story develops materially, we update it and change the modification date only when the page has actually been revised.
